[The feed is showing Lea's back for a few minutes here, where he's sitting out on the roof of the Goldenrod department store. It's hard to tell what he's doing for a few minutes, until a bar of ice cream can be seen sticking out of his mouth when he turns his head. Quirking a smile at the cameramon of the evening, he pulls the treat out and motions for the pokemon to come closer.]

C'mere, Isa.

[Making a little flare, the fire type sets the gear down on the roof, showing up at the ledge, before hopping up there herself and seating next to her trainer. It almost seems like he's not going to do anything about the gear recording and just let it time out quietly, but after a few minutes of silence, he speaks out loud.]

So, anyone listening? Do you know why sunsets are mostly red?

Haha, I don't mind! [Isa, however, is curious about that ice cream shaped Pokemon. Hopping down and poking her nose into the cooler a bit, she quirks her head this way and that, long ears swishing.]

[It's nice and cold in here. What does she expect the Ice-type to do?]

He's so silly. He tried to hug Vena, my Vulpix, and didn't get why she was running away.

I'd think he'd try to run away since he's the weaker type!

[Sticking her nose in further now, Isa is sniffing at the ice type Pokemon.]

[Gagazet lets her. He's too busy soaking up the chill]

He wanted a hug! He didn't know why Vena was running away! It didn't occur to him that she was running so he didn't get hurt.

That's hilaaarious! [Grinning and leaning back, legging his legs keep him on his seat, Lea reaches in and wiggles his fingers at the Pokemon.]

You still want that hug, little guy?

[Gagazet chirps and waves his arms. That's a yes]

If you get too hot, just hop off and go back in the cooler, alright? [He still has the scaly skin showing that he used to have fire powers, when that strangeness took over. Wiggling his fingers again, he waits for it to hop into reach.]

[Gagazet does just that. Hugs! Yay!

Rikku frowns and goes to touch the scales before pulling back]

What happened?

[With the scales mostly being around his eyes and ears, he jerks a little in surprise at the touch before rubbing at his cheeks, distracting himself by hugging that ice type Pokemon.]

Oh uh, that's what is left from those crazy powers that were going around. I had fire and while it was cool, I had a fever for a few days.

And scales? Did it dry your skin out?

A little, I guess. I didn't pay all that much attention. [Reaching up and rubbing the scales beneath his left eye, he squints a bit.] They're kind of sensitive though.

Have you tried lotion, or are they real scales?

They're real scales. [Going to quit touching the scales.]

Yikes.

[After a bit, Gagazet tries to escape back to the cooler]

[He lets the ice cream Pokemon go and sighs a little, but it's out of a contentness rather than being depressed.]

... Thanks for meeting me here. Demyx wanted to go traveling all over and I think I just need a bit of time before I hit the gym matches again. Plus with all those gyms out, it'll be tough to get all my badges.

No problem, Lea. Just be warned, I'm gonna put you to work helping me get my house all fixed and perfect!

As if giving a little elbow grease ever killed me. [He laughs.] My Pokemon can help out too though. At least, Dino and Tanta are big enough to get me up onto the roof if that needs fixing.

It might. D'you have more that six Pokémon? You can have 'em all out at the house!

I do! That'll be good for them, they can all get exercise! I mean, I do try to swap them all so they get some play time, but there's only so much I can do on the road.

Yeah, that's why I got a house. I've got, like, ten.

I've got about twelve now I think. Haven't tried catching more since I don't get to spend enough time with these as it is.

That was my problem. Also? Space. I've got a Gabite, and they get big.

Oh, I've seen the final form of that, Garchomp! Yeah, they're practically land sharks!
