One down, seven to go!
[Flashing the gear his shiny new Zephyr badge, Lea is just grinning ear to ear.] So, when should I start counting the days to beating that eight month record again? Was it when we talked, or should I count it as starting now since I got my first badge?
[There's some tugging on his pants that makes him look down, before turning the feed to show the winning party.] Oh, right, gotta thank these guys and introduce them! Listen up and get it memorized, alright?
[First up is the Luxio!] This here is Ranger, he's pretty acrobatic for a lion! Taking hits and jumping around like a champ! [The Pokemon puffs his chest, but it's onto the next; a Growlithe.] Firaga, the most energetic dog I think I've ever seen! I'm thinking he treats battles like playtime more than as battles, you know? [Firaga barks once, tail wagging wildly enough to make his rump sway with it. The screen shifts then towards a Deerling in summer form, and she's looking as dainty as always.. though her nose is turned up the moment Lea looks at her.]
Ah? Elena, be nicer for the camera, I'm introducing you to the whole network! [..... Deer-chan didn't sign up for that! She gives him such a look and walks away off screen..] Elena! Oh come on.. fine, be that way! [Turning the feed to the bird up on his shoulder, a Pidove.]
Rucksack here didn't get to do a whole lot, but he still helped out with a few leers and growls! He's a pretty messy guy though.. [Like the fact that Lea's hairstyle is a bit mussed with on the side this bird is perched on. Yup. The feed takes one last turn then, to a Blitzle.]
Zamba, there you are! And here's the other powerhouse of the team who helped Ranger take out the big guy at the end! He kind of reminds me of Isa though, always looking so serious... [The pokemon snorts once, scuffing a hoof before beginning to glow -- evolution time?!?!] Wh-- Zamba? You're evolving already? Awesome!
[Lea lets the feed stay on until the glow fades, revealing the new and improved Zebstrika! Who continues to stoic-face at the screen.] Congrats, Zamba! Man, you're probably big enough to ride now..!
