--Okay, so it works best if you put them to sleep with a powder or that hypnosis move, but we don't have either of those kinds of moves.

But I'm just saying and demonstrating! So, I'd send out Isa and she'd give a bite to make them easier to catch.. Lea. And then I'd throw one of these, and it'd rock a few times and break free! So then, throw another- Lea. It's in the ball.

.... Man, both Growlithe were too easy to catch. Come on, let's catch a bunch of other things! The old guy back in New Bark Town was all "I need information of every Pokemon you can find", right? There's a whole bunch out today!

[It's with a sigh that Valeria speaks.] You want to catch one of everything? Lea...

[A squawk, and then a similar sounding squawk from Lea can be heard soon after.] GAH! Val, call off your bird! She just really likes your hair! But why?!

[The feed cuts out, and -- oops, was that a buttdial to the network?]

[ It was, but Valeria hasn't noticed yet. She's too busy watching and chuckling as Aero the Starly attempts to make a nest out of Lea's hair just like Aerora used to. Like grandmother, like granddaughter, apparently. ]

I can't say I know, Lea. Aerora used to do the same thing. Maybe she just likes you... or your hair. It could be your hair.

[Ritsuka heard that conversation. Pokemon lessons?]

Oh, I'm giving my friend a refresher on how to catch Pokemon! There's a lot more out and around today than I've seen in a while.

[ And that does it. With an unhappy chirp, the Starly spreads her wings and so that she's hovering mid-air and -- and turns and attempsts to give Lea's head a defiant peck. She's about to try to peck him again when Val steps forward and closes a gloved hand around her beak. ]

Just a refresher course in catching Pokémon. It's been a while since I've actually thrown a ball. Didn't even have to this time...

So what I'm trying to say here... To catch a Pokémon, you need to aim the ball at it and simply toss directly without fail.

Ah, yeah. Considering my usual tools, it really isn't that hard. [ At all. Seriously. Not that she's too likely to elaborate on that. ]

He's ordinarily pretty good at giving good explanations when he's not so excited. I think the swarms have put him in a good mood.

Course! We need to remake our parties since they've gone off to do their new life things while we were gone. [THUMBS UP] And that's totally okay! I mean, we couldn't say "so guys, just wait here, we may or may not come back", right?
